Did a Whale Shark Save this Tuna?

This video has gone viral and I wonder what really happened on this event.  A spearfisher got more that what he bargained for when a huge whale shark snuck up behind him and gave him a scare while preparing to shoot a tuna.

As we can see on the video, the spearfisher screamed when a massive whale shark swam towards him and even bumping him. It was definitely a big surprise!

So was the whale shark was saving the tuna? Was it simply feeding and not worried about hitting the diver? Regardless the reason, that tuna was very lucky to get away.  The spearfisher was also luck to get out of that situation unharmed.
